This is a great opportunity for a Network Analyst to join a very professional and respected Law Firm based in Central Birmingham.
You role will include undertaking preventative maintenance and problem solving within the Network Infrastructure including helping remote users and taking part in development projects. This role has a particular responsibility for the maintenance and development of the firm`s Novell`s infrastructure including GroupWise 6.5, Netware 6 and Zen for both servers and desktops.
To be accepted for this role you must have minimum 5 years experience within a busy IT Department, Preferably within a Law firm or Professional services environment. Exposure to Citrix XP and substantial experience of Novell Netware 6 is essential, also previous experience of the management and operation of IP Telephony on a converged network preferable. Microsoft Operating Systems, Network Protocols, and experience with Microsoft Office Professional Suite and Document Management systems are essential. Having a Netware CNE qualification would be highly desirable. The company are looking for a hard working team player, good written and oral skills as well as working under pressure and tight deadlines. Training will be given on any development needs as well as great benefits.
